Things to Do Around Vancouver

Downtown Steveston and Fraser River Area

If you are looking for a super chill and scenic place to cruise on your bike, look no further. The little fishing town of downtown Steveston along the Fraser River is beautiful. It is bordered by open fields and farmlands which make for some pretty scenic riding.

Getting To and From Vancouver Island

If you are looking to venture out from the city area. Check out Vancouver Island if you have a day or two of time to spare.

The ferry system in Vancouver is amazing. You drive to the port. Park in the queue. And wait for the loading process where you drive your car onto the ferry at the Tswawwassen-Swartz Bay Ferry Terminal. They charge by car which is roughly US$50 per vehicle and US$15 per adult. Children 5 and under are free. The ferry from Vancouver to Victoria Island takes about 90 minutes.
